Wrote Director Annabelle Tsui, "We are distributing the blankets to our Meals-on-Wheels shut-in seniors, fire/disaster victims, domestic [abuse] victims, and homeless at-risk people in our Community." In the picture below, a 91-year-old shut-in senior receives a blanket.
The Lee County Salvation Army follows a mission to meet human needs without discrimination. Their services also include emergency food assistance, emergency hotel/transportation assistance, disaster assistance, and Holiday assistance for seniors and children via the Angel Tree project.
