Share Our Selves Receive Almost 100 Blankets from USC, SDSU Purchases

Share Our Selves or SOS provides "safety net" services to low-income and homeless individuals in Orange County, California, the county nestled between Los Angeles and San Diego counties. SDSU Blanket for a Blanket and USC Trojans Blanket for a Blanket purchases provided 98 blankets for SOS this past winter.

Many of the USC 1 for 1 donations were made possible by the USC School of Social Work Student Organization who sold dozens of the blankets both as a fundraiser and to create donations for SOS. Wrote Student Organization Treasurer Adriana Gamez regarding choosing to partner With a Purpose, "We were attracted to your philosophy of giving back while helping us out by being able to do a fundraiser. In addition, I thought your offer to give additional blankets to our organization of choice was very generous... This not only demonstrated your generosity but also your true commitment to giving back. We are  extremely grateful for your willingness to collaborate with us."

Those local to the Orange County area who want an immediate opportunity to further support Share Our Selves can attend their 22nd Annual SOS Wild & Crazy Taco Night on April 16th, 2015.
