40+ With a Purpose Blankets Shared at Living Word in Stockton

Connie and Dick Andersen, small group leaders at Lincoln Presbyterian Church, lead three service outreaches each month at Living Word Harvest of Stockton in California. They recently received 42 blankets generated by Cal Golden Bear Blanket for a Blanket purchases.

Providing one anecdote of the impact the blankets are having, Connie noted that a "woman whose boyfriend just died was feeling very lost, and the gift of the blanket plus our prayers and concern helped her deal with her anger with God. She has returned to say that the blanket is a reminder that there are people who care."

The top left picture depicts a typical feeding outreach provided at Living Word. The top right picture shows a woman who is living in a motel room with her five-month-old and two-year-old who received three of the With a Purpose donation blankets (one for each of her children and one for her homeless brother). The bottom two pictures are both of outreach teams who serve at Living Word.
