Our Story, Our Standards

ABOUT

With a Purpose creates licensed products that help support domestic and worldwide social issues. With a Purpose is produced by Sleep with a Purpose, Inc., a for-profit social impact company created by Josh Helland to help alleviate homelessness by providing in-kind donations of sleep products. Josh got his inspiration for this venture through his work with A Good Night Sleep, a nonprofit organization that delivered more than 1000 brand new beds to individuals making the transition from homelessness to permanent housing.

BLANKET FOR A BLANKET: YOU BUY A BLANKET. WE GIVE A BLANKET.

Through its “Blanket for a Blanket” line, With a Purpose partners with nonprofit organizations across the United States focused on veteran, shelter/housing, and disaster relief initiatives. Organizations selected are focused on compassionately meeting their clients' basic needs and empowering them toward independent living. To this end, for every blanket sold, we donate a “like” non-branded blanket to one of our nonprofit partners to distribute to an individual in need.

For our university, team, and other region-specific lines, we focus on giving back to the local and supporting communities on behalf of students, faculty, alumni, fans, and participating retailers. This promise allows us to include everyone in the giveback story and events and to create additional local awareness for the issues at hand. We also partner with national organizations for specialty lines and to help support their efforts in maintaining adequate blanket supplies for responding to natural disasters.
